Is it hard to find the perfect mori accessory, or have you ever found a dress that looks almost mori-perfect but isn't quite there? Sewing is a way to optimize fashion opportunities that you would otherwise leave on the rack, or to recycle or upcycle clothes you already own, or even create from scratch that perfect piece you envision but can't find in any store. Knowing even basic sewing techniques can also be a helpful skill in daily life.

It may be a bit overwhelming to think of sewing your own projects, with no clear understanding of where to start. Well, a lot of sewing tutorials assume you have a sewing machine, but if you're a new seamstress or seamster you probably don't have one, and are not willing to pay for such an expensive machine that you're not sure will be used more than twice. So hand sewing is definitely the place to start.

Thank you so much for all the links! Despite being fairly used to both sewing per hand and per machine, I found a couple of things that seem to be really helpful. I hope, I can try them out soon. Smile

Speaking of sewing and using threads- a while ago, I've been looking into book binding a while ago! Here are some links in case you didn't know these videos yet.
