How did you hear about/get into Mori Kei?
In late July, I was reading about Japanese fashion subcultures because I was really intrigued by them and also was trying to get inspired to rekindle my self-expression through fashion. Mori Kei was one of the ones listed and I fell in love.
What is your favorite season and/or weather?
I'm not sure if I can pick one; I love them all! I'll say what I love about each I guess: I love how summer fades into fall and the leaves turn beautiful earthy tones, the weather cools, and there's a gentle breeze. I love when it's bitterly cold, I'm bundled up in layers, and thank my stars for a hot cup of tea and feel it warm my body when I've found shelter. I love when winter finally melts away and spring becomes vibrantly green, the sun warms my skin with golden light, baby blooms grow, and the animals come out from hibernation to frolic. I love the humid, scattered thunderstorms of summer that leave just as quickly as they come, but I have to say that might be all I like about summer with the heat
How do you participate in Mori Kei?
Lifestyle and fashion. The fashion suits me and I really enjoy wearing it. As for lifestyle, see below ^^
What are your pastimes?
I love taking photos especially of nature, caring for my animals, crocheting, writing, tending to plants, reading, taking walks in nature, and exploring.
